A clean slate. A new start . My life has all of a sudden fallen into place and I am ready for all that comes my way.

I'm Hollie… obviously…. I tend to update this page randomly as my life changes. I live in North Carolina … I am 22 years old and just graduated from UNC Wilmington with a degree in Physical Education. I'll be starting my Masters in Health Education at ECU this spring. I just had my novel published and can't be more excited about the feedback I've received. I love that I can call myself a writer. Finally— I am in my first year of teaching as an Elementary Physical Education Teacher. I'm finally an adult. It is a crazy, exciting feeling. But the biggest thing is that I just got engaged! I couldn't be happier and more excited to marry the best man I know.

I said that when I graduted from high school I was going to stop the Quote Page... and when I couldn't bring myself to do it then, I said for sure when I graduated from college. And here I sit, a college graduate, still finding myself wrapped up in the written word. The amount of emails & messages I get from the people this quote page helps is unbieleveable. Therefore; I can't just stop. I've been doing this since I was 12 years old.... it is a passion of mine and necessary sometimes to just be able to find the right words to match the emotion you are feeling.

I'm a dreamer. Its true-- I love to see all the possibility in things and how great they can be. I'm starting to get better at that optimism thing as well. I've always been one to dream what could be, but know deep down inside that it would probably never happen. I have confidence in most things, but there are those few times and moments where I just need someone to remind me of that confidence. When I know I'm capable of something though, there is no stopping me. I've always believed that persistence can get you what you want.
I love routine and tradition. But I also welcome change. Without change, there's no possibility for new things. But the comfort that routine brings is also important.
I'm a horrible loser. I love-- with my whole heart. If you become someone important to me, I will pretty much do anything for you. I'm the friend you can call at 3am and I'll listen, come get you or whatever you need.
My family is pretty much amazing. And I consider them to be my best friends as w ell.
Those certain people I can still call my best friends will come first no matter what.
I love to laugh. At any and everything. A lot of my humor comes from watching FRIENDS more times than I can begin to count, but that's okay. I love the state of Texas... I grew up there and it is still my home.
I'm not much for dancing or clubs. I like more dorky things like playing board games or going bowling. I love sports and being outdoors, which is why I majored in PE. I'm a little crazy about the New York Yankees and I can really sit and watch a baseball game and be content.
I like writing letters-- it's the easiest way for me to say what I'm feeling. I love music... random kinds, but a lot of country. Mainly Randy Rogers (It's a Texas thing).
I'm really, really sensitive but I also have a quick rebound time and it won't take much to make things okay. I forgive, but I probably won't forget. I have an incredibly good memory.... I pay attention to detail.
I love thunderstorms. I could eat turkey sandwiches all the time and be okay with it.
I fidget a lot. I crack almost everything in my body. I will kick your ass at Limbo. I miss playing basketball everyday. I love my cowboy boots. Don't ask me to dance.... I will tell you no. But don't take it personally. If I'm upset, I will be quiet. If I have something important to say-- I'll struggle and start and stop but within 10 minutes I'll say what I need to. I love airports. I can not jump rope to save my life. I could never drive anything but a truck. My mom is one of my best friends and I'll never meet another guy as great as my dad. Christmas time makes me happy. I want to go to Ireland someday. Geese and Roosters scare me. I won't swim in the ocean, but I love the beach & sharks. I read faster than you. I have over 20 pair of running shoes. I rarely wear make up. I have a lot of freckles. I'm a tomboy, but I can't wait to be a wife & a mom.
